MALÉV Ground Handling was a full-service airport ground handling provider operating at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. As the former ground handling division of Hungary’s national airline, MALÉV, the company continued its operations independently after the airline’s closure in 2012. With decades of industry experience, MALÉV GH offered a wide range of services, including passenger check-in, baggage and ramp handling, aircraft turnaround coordination, VIP lounge management, and ticketing support.

Committed to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, MALÉV GH played a key role in serving major carriers—most notably Wizz Air—and upheld strict service standards in line with international airport operations. Despite strong industry expertise and government support, the company ceased operations in 2020 due to financial challenges and was formally dissolved.
